Lord almighty, so I've been tagged:
So here it is, 6 Weird Things About Me:
1. The way I eat. I don't like to mix things. I don't like having things mix on my plate. If I have mashed potatoes and gravy and the gravy seeps onto the veggies, I don't like it. Now the gravy can seep onto the meat, but only if it's turkey. Like, I won't wig out if my beans touch the rice, but it definitely bothers me. Especially if it's a wet item touching a dry item. When I go to Pollo Tropical and I get the Chicken Tropichop, I almost want to tell them to give me my beans on the side (on the side is a very big thing for me), cause I usually pick it apart and eat everything one by one. And don't even get me started on a sub sandwich. I'm much better about it now, but before, I used to open the sub, pick out the meat, eat the meat, then eat the veggies, then the cheese, then the bread. Especially subway subs.
2. I can bark like a small dog. I think that's self-explanatory.
3. When I was growing up, I always said that when I had a kid, I wanted to speak to him/her in a different dialect every week so he/she could never develop a clear speech pattern. Well, I had the kid, he's 15 1/2 months old now and I just speak to him in English for the most part. Not even English with a Southern Dialect, or English with a British Accent, Jamaican Accent, New Yawk dialect - nothing, man. I'm so blase. But I think it's not for lack of trying; it's just that I never realized how tired an infant would make me. Hmmm, now maybe while he's growing up, I'll have us all talk in a different dialect/accent at the dinner table every week.
4. Sleep. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I don't feel rested unless I've woken up after 9 a.m. Which obviously means I'm a crank butt in the morning and definitely not a morning person. Like, I can got to bed at 8 p.m. and wake up the next morning at 7:30 a.m., but I'm still pissed off that I had to wake up early, even though I had over 11 hours of sleep. But I can go to bed at 3 a.m. and if I wake up at 9:01, I'm doing good.
5. The way I type. My left hand is usually put out directly in front of me on the keyboard - straight out. But my right hand is almost at a ninety degree angle to my left hand. I guess I should invest in one of those ergonomic keyboards, but i think it would only help me if half of it was shaped normally and the other half was all wacked out.
6. Lord, I can't think of a 6th one. I'm sure many of you can, though. So in the interest of getting this published to my blog, I'm ending my list here, and am opening it up for you to add the 6th item for me in the Comments section. I can't wait to see what y'all think my neuroses are!!!
