This is kind of hilarious.

Rehabitual Britney from YouTube. They tried to make her go to rehab ...

OK, must stop replaying over and over simply because the song is catchy. no no no ... But I do wish her the best. That girl is just going nowhere fast, and it's such a shame. Not that I thought she had any talent to begin with, but her downward spiral is just too embarrassing to watch. :(

And the original song is by Amy Winehouse. It came out late last year. Click here for the video. It's a pretty catchy song.

Six Oddly Loveable Things About Moi

| | Comments (7)

Lord almighty, so I've been tagged:

So here it is, 6 Weird Things About Me:

1. The way I eat. I don't like to mix things. I don't like having things mix on my plate. If I have mashed potatoes and gravy and the gravy seeps onto the veggies, I don't like it. Now the gravy can seep onto the meat, but only if it's turkey. Like, I won't wig out if my beans touch the rice, but it definitely bothers me. Especially if it's a wet item touching a dry item. When I go to Pollo Tropical and I get the Chicken Tropichop, I almost want to tell them to give me my beans on the side (on the side is a very big thing for me), cause I usually pick it apart and eat everything one by one. And don't even get me started on a sub sandwich. I'm much better about it now, but before, I used to open the sub, pick out the meat, eat the meat, then eat the veggies, then the cheese, then the bread. Especially subway subs.

2. I can bark like a small dog. I think that's self-explanatory.

3. When I was growing up, I always said that when I had a kid, I wanted to speak to him/her in a different dialect every week so he/she could never develop a clear speech pattern. Well, I had the kid, he's 15 1/2 months old now and I just speak to him in English for the most part. Not even English with a Southern Dialect, or English with a British Accent, Jamaican Accent, New Yawk dialect - nothing, man. I'm so blase. But I think it's not for lack of trying; it's just that I never realized how tired an infant would make me. Hmmm, now maybe while he's growing up, I'll have us all talk in a different dialect/accent at the dinner table every week.

4. Sleep. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I don't feel rested unless I've woken up after 9 a.m. Which obviously means I'm a crank butt in the morning and definitely not a morning person. Like, I can got to bed at 8 p.m. and wake up the next morning at 7:30 a.m., but I'm still pissed off that I had to wake up early, even though I had over 11 hours of sleep. But I can go to bed at 3 a.m. and if I wake up at 9:01, I'm doing good.

5. The way I type. My left hand is usually put out directly in front of me on the keyboard - straight out. But my right hand is almost at a ninety degree angle to my left hand. I guess I should invest in one of those ergonomic keyboards, but i think it would only help me if half of it was shaped normally and the other half was all wacked out.

6. Lord, I can't think of a 6th one. I'm sure many of you can, though. So in the interest of getting this published to my blog, I'm ending my list here, and am opening it up for you to add the 6th item for me in the Comments section. I can't wait to see what y'all think my neuroses are!!!

On his shutterfly.

That is all.

Wow! A different Commenter!

| | Comments (6)

I just gotta say WOW! I was going thru my comment logs this morning, deleting spam comments (as much as I want to believe it was the REAL Jenna Jameson commenting on my witty work anecdotes, I have to face reality and know that it wasn't). So anyway, yeah, I was deleting spam - mortgage loan offers, ahem ... "enlargement" offers, etcetera, etcetera, and I saw that someone I don't really know actually commented on an actual entry of mine! Like, a comment that was relevant to the entry itself. WOO HOO. How exciting, yet at the same time, eerily frightening. Interesting to know that I have readers that span beyond my loyal crew.

Sooooo that got me to thinking, even though National Delurking Week was last month, I'm still curious to see who out there is reading my blog. Comments let me know that people read. Knowing that people read encourages me to write more. So, for the love of all that is good and holy, if you want this blog to continue, I urge you to comment! Comment Now! Not just once, but twice! (Although if you just repeat your same comment on the same entry, I may be FORCED TO DELETE YOU!) (Wow, don't sentiments like that just make you want to comment? Not. (said like Borat)) Anyway, aside from all my asides in parens, I swear, I am really a sane person and don't hear (too many) voices in my head.

So ... Old, new, young, aged (pro-nounced ay-jed) - we are all the same! Brothers and Sisters, I beseech you! Heh. Basically, point is, comment if you want. It sure would make my day. Oh, and speaking of days, Happy Valentine's Day, y'all. I wub woos.

Holy Crap.

Man to face child cruelty charges over laced soup

JONESBORO, Georgia (AP) -- County prosecutors will pursue child cruelty charges against a man who admitted tampering with his children's soup to get money from the Campbell Soup Co.

William Allen Cunningham, 41, pleaded guilty to communicating false claims last week in federal court. But local officials said those charges do not address the harm done to his children.

Clayton County District Attorney Jewel Scott said the state case will be reopened and prosecutors will seek to indict Cunningham on five counts of child cruelty.

Cunningham's 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter were hospitalized twice in January 2006 -- the first time after eating soup laced with hot peppers and lighter fluid, and the second time with the prescription drugs Prozac and Amitriptyline.

According to federal prosecutors, Cunningham called the soup company and threatened to sue. Under the terms of his federal plea agreement, Cunningham could be sentenced to as many as five years in federal prison when he is sentenced April 19.

Owen's November Pics are up. I also updated his milestones, so they're pretty much up to date with the pics.

Hope all is well in your world.

Ciao.
